This position is responsible for meal preparation, meal service, and maintenance of the kitchen space including cleaning/sanitizing work surfaces, inventory control, and assists in the ordering of food and products.  Our Food Service team provides meals for participants in multiple residential treatment programs, so while this position is located at our Day Rehabilitation program, the Cook will assist in preparing food that will then be distributed to multiple programs in Lincoln.

The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and the hours are flexible. Benefits are included with full-time employment, including:

Candidates must have:

  • PC Food Handler Permit (Class II) or above, or ability to gain this permit (employer will pay for permit)
  • 2 or more  years' experience in food preparation strongly preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A valid NE Driver's License with clean DMV record.
